Black Powder Double Barrel Shotgun 150 year Old or more

Black Powder Double Barrel Shotgun 150 year Old or more
This gun came in rougher than the Knickerbocker

This double barrel came in in rougher shape than the Knickerbocker as far as the iron work goes. The barrels are rusted solid to the mounting tang. The stock is intact but needs a lot of attention. The locks are badly rusted also. Looks like engraving on the gun under the rust. The journey starts…

I have a gun just like the one shown here except that mine is 210 years old (1800), the stock does not have the edgeing in the wood. Also mine is not rusted. On the bottom of the stock there is a latch that opens and a place for the black powder firing tips. Can anyone tell me more about this rifle? Thanks, Doug
